This is a Bedouin choker from Hadramaut, Yemen, circa 1900-1950. It has mixed metals, cast rectangular elements, with a spherical dangle threaded on twine. A square amulet in the middle has a red glass cabochon. The necklace ends in two triangular finials. This choker is worn by tying the two ends of the braided twine.
